Its a sign…

I live in the city, not too far from the local airport. It’s not quiet by any means. It has the city & airport noise, not the quiet of the country.  The house is backed up to a vacant, overgrown lot and we have had a lot of birds, some small creatures that have ventured out of the woods off and on in the years that we have lived there.  Late last night after working a double shift, we came home to find this guy nestled into the crack of our front door:

(We are not sure what the attraction to that spot on the door was for the frog but he was so small, he was scooped up and put into my flower garden right next to the door so he wouldn’t get hurt by anyone coming out our front door)

When I came to work and shared the story with my coworker, she told me that the frog by the front door has a symbolic meaning, and she looked it up, showing me that it stands for :

  • Creativity
  • Fertility
  • Luck
  • Cleansing
  • Intuition
  • Transformation

Now, I don’t know if I believe in that stuff, I am definitely not having any more children, so, #2 is out of the question, but the rest, I find intriguing so lets just see if this plays out or applies to our lives. We have 1 child still living at home and have a friend going through a hard time (and divorcing) who is living with us so it may apply to any of the people in our house.

We just recently put out bird feeders and they have been going nuts on my feeders. Coming home this morning to find a small bird flinging food down onto the ground, another small bird eating what he was flinging down to the ground, like the one on top was helping his friend eat too. The mess that these birds was making, the food was all over the deck. I glanced out, thinking, that we will have to clean that later, then out the door I went for another appointment before work. When I returned from my appointment, I found this guys sitting on my deck eating:

(Tell me this guy isn’t eating good in the neighborhood huh? LOL)

Of course, my coworker again tells me that it’s a sign, she says that seeing the squirrel means:

When a squirrel comes into our lives it is often a message for us to have more fun, and take life a little less seriously, or that squirrels deal with practicality. As the squirrel is commonly known to hide and save its food and return to it in the winter months – we take this as a sign in our own lives; a sign that it might be time to look into our own provisions.

Again, I don’t know if I believe in this stuff but if its true, then I think I have a lot of great things that are going to be happening in my or my family’s life.

Happy Thursday to everyone-hope that you have a very blessed day!
