As fall sets in, I know the holidays are just around the corner. This is when I start to really miss my old friend that passed away a couple of years ago. I go through these moments of wishing that I could pick up the phone and call, wishing there was a phone in heaven that I could just pick it up and hear her voice, spend hours on the phone like we used to. The ache of missing the person never really goes away, you just learn to live with it.
Remembering those friends who have gone before me, wishing I could make a call, write a note or send a message to let know I love and miss them!
