November 6 – November 29
Help Out for Half Off
Get a discount on admission and help the hungry at the same time! Each visitor who brings two or more food items to the front gate will receive half off general admission.
All of the food donations collected will benefit the Emergency Food Network, a Pierce County non-profit that provides 15 million pounds of food each year to more than 60 food banks, hot meal sites, and shelters for distribution to low-income families and individuals.
Emergency Food Network officials say the agency is currently experiencing a shortage of shelf-stable food items such as:
- Canned tuna
- Chicken and salmon
- Canned fruits and vegetables
- Peanut butter
- Low-sugar granola bars and cereal
- Baby food
Giving back to the community is a longstanding tradition at Northwest Trek. In the last four years, wildlife park staff members donated some 3,000 items of food and $2,790 to the Eatonville Family Agency’s food bank.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept monetary donations in place of food during Help Out for Half Off.
This discount cannot be combined with any other Northwest Trek offers or promotions and applies to general admission prices.
