Trying to live a simple life

Trying to live a simple life, get back to whats really important.

A simple life has a different meaning for every person.  For me, it means getting rid of some of life’s crap so you can spend more time with people you love and do more of the things you love.  It means getting rid of the clutter, and eliminating everything but the essentials, so you are left with only that which gives you value or sustain’s life.

For most of us,  it is living with less stuff, less debt, less clutter and living with more freedom, more time, more joy. By simplifying,  you begin to see who and what is really important. You know what you want, what you need – and you have the time and space to explore those things further.

I loved this little picture so much. It represents times all of us have as adults, when life gets to be too much and you would like to go back to your childhood, when things were so simple.

There is so much more joy to be had when living a simpler life. The important things bring joy – the improved relationships – the little things – a beautiful sunset, a child’s giggle, a bird in flight, a sunrise or sunset the warmth of a room full of friends. You will have the time and energy to feel these.

This life is yours to live, embrace simplicity and enjoy the little things in your life!
