Kindness

The first thing that usually comes to mind when you hear the word, is random acts of kindness but I think for the most part, just doing something for someone without expecting anything in return is just plain kindness.

I am a true believer in this and I guess I didn’t realize that I passed this down to both of my children. My oldest son is the one that would run through the house with a spider in a cup, take it outside and let it go. Both of my kids sitting at a light when a truck broke down in front of them, got out of the car, put on the emergency flasher’s and helped push the truck to a safe spot on the side of the road. My oldest son had to remind me that with these acts, you can choose to make someones day bad by your reaction or make it good-by your acts of kindness. (I am a pretty proud mom-where did you learn this stuff?)

I hope that this inspires you to try one-act of kindness today!
