Entertainment during the winter months usually involves staying indoors but it doesn’t have to cost you anything to take advantage of your local library. Your local public library is an excellent free resource for year-round enjoyment, offering much more than endless shelves of books.
Besides the traditional book, there are books on tape, on dvds, ebooks for check out or download, movies and classes for all ages. They have a summer program available for the kids, storytelling, fitness & readings.
For the adults, there is computer classes, research & book club/classes available. Some classes include: job-interview classes, understanding the new healthcare plan, natural disaster prevention, and technology basics. Some classes may require registration and a small fee, so be sure to check in advance.
